Mr. Aaron Datsko
Aaron Datsko is the Band Director at Lower Merion High School, and has been so since joining the music faculty in 2002.  A graduate of Penn State University (BS, Music Education) and University of the Arts (MM Music Education), Datsko also teaches Music Technology & Production as well as Music and Modern Culture. In addition to his teaching duties, he currently serves as the principal bassoon of the Warminster Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Joshua Cooperstein
After growing up in Havertown, Mr. Cooperstein attended Temple University and graduated in 2014 (BM, Music Education/Jazz Instrumental Concentration).  In January 2015, Mr. Cooperstein began his time in Lower Merion School District at Bala Cynwyd Middle School.  He joined the Lower Merion Music faculty in 2016 and became director of the Pep Band (Dawg Band), the teacher of piano lab, and co-teacher of Music
Technology & Production, Concert Band, and Concert Choir. He also conducts the PLAYERS Show Orchestra.
Mr. Joshua Hunnex
A native of northern New Jersey, Mr. Hunnex joined the Lower Merion Music faculty in 2005 as a music theory and music history teacher. Since 2009 Mr. Hunnex has also been Lower Merion's choir director. He also leads Lower Merion A Cappella and is the PLAYERS Vocal Coach. Hunnex is a 2003 graduate of Penn State (BS, Music Education) and a 2014 graduate of University of the Arts (MM, Music Education).
Mrs. Jessica Villante
Mrs. Villante joined the faculty at both Lower Merion and Harriton as a string teacher in 2009, and in 2016 became the Orchestra Director at Lower Merion High School. She also teaches Music Major and co-teaches concert choir. Mrs. Villante is a 2009 Graduate of Temple University (BM, Music Education ; BM, Music Performance) and 2015 Graduate of University of the Arts (MM, Music Education).  When not teaching, Mrs. Villante can be found trying a new recipe, going on adventures in Philadelphia, or spending time with friends and family.
Mr. Andrew Neu (adjunct - Jazz Band)
Mr. Neu is well respected throughout the industry for his work as a saxophonist, woodwind player, arranger, composer and recording artist.

Regularly touring the world with Bobby Caldwell, Diane Schuur and Smokey Robinson, Neu has shared the stage with Elton John, Patti Labelle, Mellissa Manchester, Mel Torme, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Four Tops, and The Temptations among others. He has also recorded as a soloist with Bobby Caldwell, Sister Sledge, Manhattan Transfer, Peter White, David Sanborn, Steve Oliver, Jeff Lorber, Brian Culbertson and Buddy DeFranco. Neu has appeared at major festivals and concert halls throughout the world and performed with jazz artists Pat Martino, Randy Brecker, Joey DeFrancesco, Lew Soloff, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright, Euge Groove, Kim Waters, Warren Hill, Nick Colionne, David Benoit, Eric Darius, Chieli Minucci and Brian Simpson. He was a featured soloist on CDs by Bobby Caldwell, Steve Oliver and Peter White’s number 1 song and record, ‘Here We Go’ on Billboard all in 2012. 

A long time member of Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, Andrew has also been featured as a soloist and an arranger with the Brian Pastor Big Band and the Dave Stahl Band. He has recorded CDs with both bands. Andrew leads an all-star big band in Los Angeles along with trumpeter, Anthony Bonsera. 

A graduate of Temple University’s Esther Boyer School of Music, Neu is a voting member of NARAS and the Grammy Awards. His big band charts are published with Kendor Publishing.
